TopoShaper can't find my licensed version
-
I upgraded to SketchUp 2022, but now my extension for TopoShaper does not work. I get this message:
Trial Period Expired: TopoShaper
Trial period has expired since Fri 18 Nov 2022
You now need to get a License to continue using the extensionI already have purchased TopoShaper--it's not a trial. How do I get it to recognize my license?

Visit https://sketchucation.com/webshop/my-licences.php and download your license file and validate it.

Thanks for the help.
What if there are no licenses listed there?
Do I need to purchase the plugin again?
-
If there's no license there then the user account did not purchase any license.
-
OK. That must be it.
How do I buy the plug in again? I have successfully downloaded it from the Sketchucation store. However, when I use the Extension Manager to install it, nothing happens.

You must be logged in at SketchUcation using the same member-account which you believe obtained [purchased] the extension's license.
It should then appear on your related licenses page at SketchUcation.Remember that Fredo's extensions all need his LibFredo installed...
And the SCF licensing system requires you to have installed the latest [v4.2.9] SketchUcation toolset. After installing all of these and restarting SketchUp you should get an entry for the relevant Fredo extension under the Tools menu..
.
This has a Licenses... item which lets you obtain/validate/manage your licenses...
If you click the 'Obtain' button you can buy a license [if you haven't got one].Once you get the license-file [by email] you need to store it somewhere safe on your computer...
You can then 'Validate' that extension's license from the button on the same dialog, by finding and choosing that license file...Simply downloading/installing and extension does not normally license it.
You need to obtain and then validate a license [using PayPal]... -
Thanks for that detailed information. I must have set it up incorrectly when I first started using it. I'm back in business!
