Where are my autosave files please?

SketchUp used to save my autosave files in the same folder as the file I was working on. Now, it seems to not be saving them at all? I have searched everywhere and can't find them. Autosave is selected under preferences and I even changed it to every 10 minutes, but no point if I can't find them. Does anyone (Apple) know where to find them please? Thank you

On Windows we have Create backup files that have the file extension .skb
Autosave saves as .skp and has the same file name as the manually saved file
On magically Macs I imagine it's the same. Is your Create backup (if it exists on Mac) checked?

Also for the never saved files on Windows you can find them in:
C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\SketchUp\SketchUp 2021\SketchUp\working\SKETCHUP\RecoveredFiles
