Was looking online for a mug that kept my coffee hot but not be the usual 'flask' type and found this
At €150 I decided to wait until I cash in my Twitter shares
More browsing I found Mugr. Which is a handsome design that I thought suited SUbD and Vertex Tools...

So tried to recreate the scene...

If I was still pounding out the "Thread For Fine Design" Rich, this definitely would have made the cut. Very strong sensual design!

Top notch renderings! That finish on the first two mug images is VERY close to the glaze on my favorite mug.

Thanks for the nice comments. Still more work to do. Not happy with mug material yet and the HDRI I used needs to change.
For the shadows I just botched some bits a pieces...
