Licensing issues
-
One of the laptops that we use for SketchUp had a coffee/cat issue and the computer died. I went to the Trimble page to deauthorize all so that I could then relicense the computers we use, but it always leaves one seat in use and I am unable to authorize the 4 devices (2 desktops and 2 laptops used by the same 2 individuals when on site). Is it possible to reset the account completely? The licenses are under the email office@rfc.us. I even purchased a 3rd license but the same issue happens.
Earlier this year I had the same problem and the only way I was able to solve it was to cancel those licenses and purchase new ones.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Whenever you run into license issues the procedure to follow is:
Make sure Sketchucation Tools is up to date
Make sure the extension having issues is up to date
Restart SketchUp and go to...
On your licenses page you can click the little chevron next to seats used...
...and check if releasing is possible. Online seat release is a new feature that is slowly rolling out so it may or may not be available.
If none of the above works send an mail to support@sketchucation.com and we can sort you out.

My issue is not with extensions but with SketchUp Pro 2022 itself.

with a recent SU subscription licence tied to an email address (and not the discontinued classic licence w/ serial data): if resetting all devices via the Trimble AMP ("My Products > SketchUp Pro > ...") as well as logging out, closing/restarting SU, logging in fails, you may want try to delete the according SU license status file "login_session.dat" from:
• Win:
C;\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 20##\SketchUp\
• Mac:
~/Library/Application Support/SketchUp20##/
("Finder > Got To...")
w/ the recent user name for "<User>" (Win) and the appropriate version numer for "20##"
