Increase default line segments of a curves

Hi, I am drawing a lot of curves similar to contour lines. When I draw the (many) lines they all default to 12 segments. I need them to have much more segments for the required purpose. Is there any way I can change the amount of segments by default?

Select the arc tool, type the number you want and hit enter. This will stay as the default until you change it or start a new instance of sketchup.
