Sketchup solid subtraction subtracts an unwanted piece
-
I have no idea why this one fails to work. Attached a screen record.
I promise i selected two solids to do the subtraction, and after that, the resulting object is no longer a solid, when I look carefully, I saw there is an opening in an unrelated area, making the geometry not dense anymore:

Scale everything up by x100 and run the boolean then scale it back down.
SketchUp doesn't like small faces. I don't mean kids. I mean geometry that is tiny....

is one meter cube considered small in sketch uP.?

No, but you have geometry thats <1mm in places. Scaling fixes it.
