Hi, I want to transfer my Sketchup projects to a faster PC, as the one I have been using is too slow. I have download Sketchup to the new PC and want to reinstall my SketchUcation tools & clothworks extensions also.

I have tried to download these but get an error message that doesn't recognize my model as a SketchUp model and therefore the extensions aren't installing. Does anyone how I can fix this?

I've tried installing these in both SketchUp 2020 and SketchUp 2021, but get the same error message for both versions. I have also saved the files for each of these extensions in the SketchUp Extensions folder.

      TIA.

Use Extensions > Extension Manager to install RBZ files. SketchUp cannot open RBZ files it unpacks them via the Extension Manager into your Plugins folder.

At least it sounds like you are trying to open an extension file[RBZ] in SketchUp and not install it.

Download the free D'oh Book for SketchUp 📖

Thanks for your help. I figured it out. The extension files were saving to "downloads" rather than mapping to the correct SketchUp "shipped extensions" folder. I had to manually save them in this folder and then install within SketchUp. It took a while, but I got there in the end!

No, you shouldn't be putting them in Shipped Extensions.
You should just do what Rich said and install them Using the Extension manager from the download folder.
