In the beginning.

I went on line and looked for dimensions, the site I visited stated a little over 18 Inches. So much for factual evidence. Thanks for the correction, makes more sense that a violin would be that size to me.

Mike , Found a good dimensioned drawing of a 1950's Les Paul. Unfortunately my PDF to DWG converter is not working for some reason or would have posted a DWG for you. The best I can extrapolate off the PDF imported into SU
( the image is kind of blurry ) and in centimeters. It seems it is approximately 3' 3" overall length. If the proportions of the various bits are close you might be able to scale the whole thing in one go ? -
Thanks, sounds great I have had a good look and rescaled X2 which is closer visually. I have a test render with a set of drums. I have a bass guitar and am looking at making a three or four piece setup. So far it's not bad but I am waiting on the finish and still trying to find some good full height curtains. I have had to reorganise since I found some corrupt folders. Par for the course when we have old computers. Anyhoo, will post test 3 when it finishes.

This is a rough outline, stuff to come, a bass and possibly a keyboard.

I am gradually getting the scene layout fixed in stone, a question for the musicians here, are wireless amps and speakers feasible yet?
-
Latest, pretty much cables to do and fini.

Love the lighting and overall look of this one. Short critique.... Me being me I find the floor a little distracting in combination with the cowhide rug.... and the "old fart" that I am the drum kit would have to be one you would have seen Ringo behind back in the day . Actually a great job overall !

Thanks, the drum kit is in the making, this just allows me to fold a scene into the space. The floor I quite liked initially but plain floorboards, as you say, will fit into the scene. STILL trying to find some decent drapes on my hdd but can I find them? Worse than the time I spent four hours looking for my glasses. Never going to find them when they are on my head am I? The clue was Sara rolling around laughing. I must be bluddy old.

Looking good!

Thanks mate.

Just for a laugh.
