      Question:
      I´ve got SubD and FredosCorner plug-ins with SketchUp pro 2021 (running om Mac).

      I managed to make rounded corners on a cylinder (trying to make a very realistic closeup on a ishockey puck). But I want it smoother - the cylinder seems to be divided in 24 parts and that makes it not smooth enough...

      kind regards
      Rickard

        SketchUp represents circles, arcs, and curves with a series of straight line segments and curved surfaces with flat faces with the dividing edges softened/smoothed. You can change the number of sides used to draw the circle used to create the cylinder. By default SketchUp uses 24 sides. To change it, get the Circle tool and immediately type a new value. Don't overdo it, though. You can create problems in your model if you go too high.

          Thank you!
          So easy and basic - so I missed it 😕

            Please help me!
            I´m not a daily user so I tend to forget. Anyway - last time I posted here I just got FredosCorner. Very useful extra feature to my SketchUp-Pro. Now when I needed it again it didn't work. I had to "upgrade". I tried to follow instructions but I do not understand!!!

            "I get this message in SketchUp and when I klick I come
            This version of FredoCorner has expired
            Please upgrade to latest version

            Open the Plugin Home page?
            https://sketchucation.com/plugin/2120-fredocorner"

            I klick - I go there - I klick on "Download" - I restart - Sketch Up - and so on....what ever I do I do not get back FredosCorner as it worked the last time.

            Always come back to the same message;

              FredoCorner recently became a commercial extension meaning you need to purchase a license for it. See the first post in the FredoCorner thread. You also need to make sure that LibFredo6 is up to date and make sure you have the Sketchucation Plugin Store extension installed. If you don't want to buy a license for FredoCorner, you can always go back to the older but no longer supported Round Corner. It still works but doesn't have as many features as FredoCorner does.

                The messages could make things clearer. Yes, there is an update available. The PluginStore or Fredo's own check will tell you so. And yes, you can download and install the extension update. But until you purchase and install a license (done via an item on the Fredo Corner menu), the updated extension will not run. It seems that the days of incredibly powerful but free extensions are starting to fade away.
