      Hello,

Thank you Fredo for such a great plug-in and amazing support through the videos and forums. I am learning a lot about using Animator.

I am wondering if it is possible to animate the "drawing of a line". For a simple example: I have a model of a pencil. I am able to make an animation of the pencil move in a rectangle. Is it also possible to animate the line drawn by the pencil as well? As in, as the pencil moves, the line begins and follows the pencil?

I can model the line in sketchup and make it appear all at once, but is there a way to make it "gradually" appear?

Thank you in advance if anyone can answer this question.

      Best regards!

This is not supported in the current version.

This is indeed a good idea, which I guess is feasible, but not trivial with the current framework.

In the meantime, if your line is not too convoluted with back paths, then you can use the Apparition movement (based on Sketchup sections). You just need to enclose the line within a group or component and make it appear progressively.

Great suggestion to make it progressively appear. There are a few other complicated ways to simulate this, but thank you for confirming it's not a feature I wasn't seeing!

          Cheers!
