Change of pace - bedroom scene
-
I needed a change of pace. Here is a bedroom scene. Models from the warehouse. First rough. Yeah, no walls yet.

-
Walls get in the way and I rarely put the walls up until I have a layout I am mostly happy with. I tend to have a floor with a thickness suitable for floor and ceiling and offset a thickness for the walls. This allows me to see any conflict before walls get extruded to height.
Your method here makes sense to me anyway. Looking forward to the progress.

Update.

Update. Molding added but not competed.

-
Decorative rough out. Still need to add more molding.

-
Almost done with the interior.

-
Nice work up of all the features. That guy is all gung ho for bedtime it seems. Quilt looks good!
-
Thanks pbacot!
-
I've seen something like those nightstand lights--but mounted in the wall. More elegant.
-
Thanks.
I can't wait to render this but I still have a balcony to build and city backdrop to add outside of the French doors.
-
Looks like movie setup, waiting for a render.

For light, maybe something from their assortment:

If the render is as good as the setup it will be great mate.

Looking forward to the render
