      Greetings,

I will appreciate greatly any information of creating Sets (Set Manager) within Sketchucation Tools.
I have many pugins and I would like to organize them into proper sets.
Is it possible to group the chosen extentions and load them into SU at once using the Set Management feature?

      Thank you in advance.

      PS
Or perhaps there is a better way of coping with SU extensions?

Within the Plugin Manager load/disable Plugins as desired and use the Set [blue] button to open the Set-dialog, and type in a logical name, and click to "Add" a named set.
Create another collection of loaded/disabled Plugins as desired, again use the Set button to name then "Add" a new named set.
If you enter an existing name to Add then you are prompted to overwrite it...
        Repeat as needed...

Typically your Plugin Sets will suit your different work-stages - e.g. massing design, detailing, C.Docs etc.

The Set-dialog lets you "Add" a new Set - if there are existing Sets already saved it has additional options...

Select one Set item from the list of the named Sets, and then click one of the options buttons - e.g.

"Apply" to swap the Manager's listed loaded/disabled Plugins to suit that selected Set.
"Revert" to reuse the selected Set and discard any manually made changes.
"Update" to use the currently loaded/disabled Plugins and change the selected Set's collection.
"Delete" to remove the selected Set from the remembered list of Sets.
"Export" to save the selected Set to an external .set file [e.g. xxx.set on your Desktop] - allowing you to share that Set with other users, or other computers, or across SketchUp versions.
"Import" lets you add a selected Set from an external .set file [e.g. aaa.set on your Desktop] - see Export above - you can then select and Apply that Set.
"Export All" and "Import All" work in a similar way but include All Sets...

If your chosen Set has newly loaded items they should become available immediately.
But with any newly disabled items you must restart SketchUp to apply those changes...

Thank you very much for ample explication.

          I think I begin understanding.
And as far as I do, the set is simply saving the current loaded and disabled plugin in the Su session.

In order, for instance, to set/save a set with two plugins to be load next time SU starts I have to desable all plugins but these two and save ny set giving previously a name, right?

If this is true i find it a bit complexe and time consuming. Or perhaps there is a possibility to select a bunch of plugins to be activated/disabled.

I will be thankful for you confirmation or rectification.
Once more many thanks fir your instruction.

If you have just two Plugins loaded in the Manager when SketchUp restarts there will still be just those two Plugins loaded.
The Plugins Manager lets you load/disable any Plugins you choose.
Because of limitations in the way SketchUp loads Plugins you can't dynamically disable them - they will stay loaded during that session.
However, if you disable a Plugin and restart SketchUp, then that disabled Plugin will not load at startup.
But of course you can choose to use the Manager to load selected Plugins during a session.
The orange button does a 'temporary load' - that is it loads just for that session, and when SketchUp restarts it is disabled once again...

You can select multiple Plugins in one go, for loading/disabling/temporarily-loading by clicking on them in the appropriate column in the dialog - holding the +Ctrl key to pick them one-by-one, or holding +Shift key and clicking on the first and the last the selected ones, this is just like any other Windows app...
Then you click the appropriate button [RGO] they'll move column and be re-colored to indicate what's just been changed...
If you pick some items wrongly you can simply re-click them to remove them from the selected ones before clicking the button.
If you've already moved them into another column you can move them back by highlighting them in that column and moving them across in the correct column...

Please get to understand how the load/disable/temporarily-load [GRO] buttons work on selected entries in the loaded and disabled columns...

Sets are an additional way of remembering your preferred collections of Plugins - for use during your different work-stages etc.
Look at using those once you are comfortable with the manual operation...

As explained, enabling manually or by 'set' is immediate, but disabling manually or by 'set' will require a SketchUp restart to complete the process.

              Splendid.
              I do thank you.
Now its clear for me how to deal with the set features.
