Help on a specific curvature
-
Hello, I am working on a 3D vehcile model, and I am trying to get the base of the model to work with the windows.
My skp you can play around with it
Since the windows are flat, I noticed while putting them in "place", the curvature of my front edging is pretty ugly due to projection.
I don't currently know of a working plugin for sketchup 8 (wont change version btw ), that can project the window curve well or even so, how do you think I can fix this to make it work?HAPPY 4TH!

Wow what a supportive community we have here. Thanks anyway

Hi there,
throughout the forum, I am not aware much about car modeling so perhaps there is the reason for not making a lot of support here.
I think you are using tools which will you get not far when car modeling is what you are after for.
Here are some YT vids on that subject:Artisan plugin or SubD plugin is, in my opinion, the best tools for this kind of modeling.
You will need a few more but if you watch the video you will see additional plugins he uses.

I think we use many different methods for what we make and I do not have experience of your method from what I see here.
Trial and error to mix and match aspects of different methods may work.
