    Move tool not snapping when stretching

      Hi Guys Has anybody had an issue with the Move tool not snapping when used for stretching?

        I think I solved it! You have to establish a reference point within the Group in which you are trying to move the lines. And it has to be a 'line' not a 'guide line' it seems. It doesnt seem conistent though 😞 Any feedback welcome πŸ˜„

          Whenever SketchUp has trouble snapping points during moving/scaling etc I temporary use BackEdgesMode (shortcut 'k' if I'm not mistaken). Works all the time.

            I'd like to see an example file that shows the problem you are having.

            i frequently adjust the stretch geometry with the Move tool and infer to entities outside the current group or component with no problem.
