11 feet square - floorspace on two levels. Changed picture.
-
Smaller than before, first floor view demonstrates the yacht steps. Not something to use when suffering/recovering from a superfluency of ink cohol.
Not happy with the glass, changed a few other things too.
For some reason the exterior light is too low, the balance may need to be adjusted again.

really really good !
-
Thanks folks, appreciated.
-
... a real thing like a student hostel ?
-
More like student accommodation on campus. Cheap to build and a small footprint but good quality.
-
what a pleasant real world contrast to the so often rendered seen high-gloss + lots of money rooms. Good!
-
Thank you, much appreciated.
-
Oh wow! Yeah, great renders!
-
Mike, these are really good! What render engine did you use here? I wouldn't have minded the girl in the second image to be photochopped in, but the first image is awesome!
-
Thanks Richard, I use Twilight V2 mostly, the girl is one of a few good 3d figures that tend to show up now and then. I will be revisiting my favourite models with different methods when it gets a bit cooler here. Something of an oven in my living room now.
-
Nice renders although I find the girl is crying or upset. Just a suggestion since it is obvious that every mm is imortant here could the ballustrade be Glass? that would save about 60mm and the glass would visually open the space a considerably?
-
Yes it could, and should, thanks for that. I get a bit target fixated sometimes and was thinking about continuity with the stair opening at the time.
The girl is waiting for a cab, or just got out of one and got into her new student place. Both fit for me.
