Have you set up these shortcuts using the Preferences dialog ?
Did you add the key by clicking the + button, and did you then save those changes to your Preferences ?

If you reopen the Preferences dialog does it list the new shortcuts afterwards ?

Are your changed shortcuts lost when you restart SketchUp ?

Unfortunately you have not supplied any information in your profile details, e.g. about your OS.

Assuming you use Windows with v2017, and that it's something like the 'missing-after-restart' issue, then it suggests that you have failed to install SketchUp properly, and SketchUp finds itself unable to save your settings because of permission issues with certain files...

        Try the following...

        Close SketchUp.
Find the SketchUp installer's exe file, it is probably in your Downloads folder ?
Select its icon, right-click > context-menu > "Run as administrator"
        When prompted choose "Repair"
        When it completes restart SketchUp.
Make a new shortcut, and see if that sticks after you restart SketchUp...

Installing any complex app [like SketchUp] in any other way will cause unpredictable issues, often related to permissions. So never double-click an installer's exe file to "Run" it: even if you have admin-powers it is NOT the same thing.
