You have to use the unsecured link to use video tags.
You have to take the S out of the https://like this.

ah thanks so much and such a quick reply, and the snap tools is awesome thankyou for that
anybody else know of any other tools out there that are similar to sketchup features
doing a google search "blender sketchup style" or "sketchup features for blender" dosnt return much of anything, would be interesting to know if there are anything else
id like something like sketchups paint bucket tool for textureing. the uv editor good for more complex texturing but id love to be able to just click a face to apply a texture/material
-
Blender looks down on we lowly SketchUp people as do most 3D Programs. We're not real 3D modeling...
-
There is opinions that limit more than tools, when I see those kind of attitude I think it is just sad. Fortunately by my experience there is not many professionals losing their time this way.
edit:, sorry if I seems hash to you, I am meaning just to those blender people you´re refering,

This Addon makes selecting deselecting much easier but if I have understood correct it is still not working 100%.
rSelection (Left click to select and click empty to deselect all, script not 100% finalized!)

I don't think it's for sale any longer.
I have the extension, but have not used it for a good while. Back then I was thinking of using Blender's render capabilities, the SU exports to Blender worked fine.

I was thinking of using eevee and blendup seemed to be a good way of bring in tje Su Model..
With blender 2.8 coming along nicely, i was thinking of using eevee for some realtime rendering with SU modelsSent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

I have it too, I was experimenting for ease transfer from SU to Unreal but as I know the plugin is abandoned? You guys have any new news on that?!
-
Regarding the other BlendUp (the SU exporter), I agree I think its dead. I have done quite a search trying to find a version older than 1.4 but can find no trace of it anymore. It has been removed from Blender Market, and all support links seem to be dead. V1.4 only supports to SU2016. I would like to try it on SU2017. Alas.

Maybe try finding a older version of the site thru wayback machine.
