What is the best software for 3D Rendering?
-
Hi All,
Which is the best software for 3D Rendering - 3Ds Max or any other? Give suggestions.
-
I am reticent to answer because the question is so big and, you have not given much information about your needs . Do you need something that is:.
Cheap?
Free?
Cost is not an issue?
can apply to number of 3D platforms?
Easy, quick learning curve?
Hardware forgiving?
What genre of modelling do?
What level of photo realism do you require? ............................................................................................................................................The list would go on and on a bit, but I think you would need to be specific about your requirements before anybody could give you any advice. In short there is not any "best" render engines, It is like asking: What is the best tree?

Even the Pro version is dirt cheap at $149 USD (currently).

Kerkythea or Twilight Render Hobby, both free, both capable of great results.
Any current package can give great results, but you need to put the time in to know the software. -
