Objects stuck in position

Often I make a simple shape, or attempt to move an object only to have it snap back to it's original position. When I release the mouse it's like the object is attached to it's original position by an invisible rubber band. This happens with the Move Tool, Scale and Push Pull.
I can fix by saving and rebooting the drawing, but that is time consuming and not always practical. I've changed my mouse but that didn't fix the problem.
Using SKP 17 Pro. I'd love to send a model but when I save the problem goes away.
Anybody else have this problem? -
It sounds to me as if you've got a Dynamic Component with some fixed attributes. I've seen cases where components are geo-located and cannot be moved from a location but you should be able to edit it and use Push/Pull or Scale on it.

Doesn't sound like a dynamic component or geolocation issue if it is removed by save and reopen.
Perhaps you can record it to gif or vid next time it happens.
