ATI FirePro V5900 to what?

I just built a new Win 10 ITX machine with RYZEN 7 1700X, 16 GB 3200 DDR4, and m2.500gb primary drive on and Asus ROG Strix B350-I motherboard. However, I used my ATI FirePro V5900 (2gb) Video card from my old first gen i7 machine. Everything works fine, but that card is pretty dated. Still, I don't know if that means it's not a good choice? Would a more modern Video Card offer better and NOTICEABLE performance? If so, any suggestions? I also like to get parts used. My V5900 was $90 used several years ago, and updated a V4800.

I'm using this machine mainly for AutoCAD, Sketchup, Rhino6, and Corel.

With Bitcoin mining craze of late the GPU prices are going up.

Linus Tech Tips did a good video on how to get good cards for good prices that are comparable to the overpriced equivalents.

I always tend to go nVidia as AMD are not so good with SketchUp and GPU accelerated rendering.

I think when I built my last machine in 2011 this was reversed.

With Rhino6 I have to switch off "GPU Tessalation" in my Firepro for it to work right. I don't know of any problems with nVidia Quadros. Still, Quadros are not cheap. I'll be on the lookout for a good used P2000 in the future.

CAD graphics card series are not required for your listed applications, actually they are burning money for no benefit.

Buy a capable nVidia GeForce GTX 1060 6G and you're fine, as make Asus and MSI are recommendable.
