:Rey's Speeder:

Here's a model of Rey's Speeder that I was commissioned by someone at Marvel to do earlier this year. This type of modelling definitely isn't my thing, especially since I use very few plugins. I probably only used RoundCorner and Pipe Along Path to build this. Once its public, I'll post up what it was ultimately used to create.

Nice and clean modeling, I like the spare parts netting, well-done mate.
I played around a bit last year in anticipation of the movie, only had the trailer to work from, here is my attempt.: http://www.solos-art.com/star-wars-the-force-awakens/

Nice model. It'll be great to see it textured.

that's really nice, pete.. as usual I slacked on the small details like around the thrusters. sandbox tools + a png texture worked out well for the netting.
there were some updates since this, and it is a 'little' more detailed but I never exported any images.

PNG texture for the netting? I would have never thought of that. Clever!

Hi Anne, just checked your profile which says you are a beginner at Sketchup. I think you need to update your status

-
Liam - I only added the link to the picture as I was looking at the post myself, I am afraid I have nothing to do with the model - still a beginner....
