DELETE COMPONENT
-
I want to get rid of a component from my model component list. Why would the delete menu item be missing? I would assume that's because it is in the model. But I don't think it IS in the model. Is there a way to see a component that is in the list--locate it in the model? Or force it to delete from the list. I don't want to purge unused.
Alternately is there a command to select a component in the model and have SU show where it is in the list (instead of looking it up?)

After you have 'purged unused' and the component-definition still remains in the Component-Browser > Model list, then you should still be able to re-select that component-definition in the Component-Browser > Model list, then right-click > context menu to Delete... then all instances, and the definition itself should be removed...
Works for me ???

Thank you. I figured it out, I guess. Simple really. If I select a component in the list, which seems like the normal thing to do,and right-click the "delete" function is grayed out. But for all the non-selected items on the list it is there to use.
This is not very clear at first for, if I don't click on it, the component is not identified, except by where I hover the mouse (even the warning doesn't name the component).
I guess I just hate the component window, and will not worry about what's in it or not, and go on avoiding it.
