How to import .gsm extension in sketchup
-
Hi guys,
I received some files from an architect with .gsm extension, what is the best way to import them into sketchup?
Thanks in advance,
Sam

GSM is an ArchiCAD library file.
There is no direct importer for it into SketchUp.However, the architect who gave you these files could easily export them from ArchiCAD into a usable CAD file type - if you were an AutoCAD user then it'd be DWG or DXF - or for other apps perhaps DAE, OBJ, STL etc... BUT the newer versions of ArchiCAD also export in SKP format [SketchUp] directly - so that would be the simplest path ?
