0.03 Showing as 0.3 in LO tables from Excel
-
Can anyone tell me why LO is changing my 0.03 value to 0.3 when I reference my excel spreadsheet?
See image attached:

How are those cells formatted in the spreadsheet? It's odd that it shows as 0.3. with a decimal after the 3, too.

I've been trying to figure it out and can't seem to find the issue. Maybe a bug?
I have attached details of formatting in excel. Though I have not imported the formatting into LO.

Do you need that column to do any math? If not, how about converting the formatting to text in the spreadsheet. Maybe you could at least move on with the work. Could you share the spread sheet file so I can try inserting it into LO to see what I get? Send it by PM if you don't want to make it public.

I see the Excel file has generous cell width compared to the cell width in LO table.
Maybe try expanding the whole LO table width and see if the decimal point issue in column "F" resolves itself?Just a guess.

I tried changing the cell formatting from number to text which did solve the problem. I could even keep the formula in the cell, but can't change the decimal places which is a bit annoying but I can probably solve that in a more complex formula.
Changing the table width in LO didn't appear to solve the problem, but maybe Dave can take a look and figure it out
I guess it's half solved at the moment.

Could you send me the spreadsheet file by PM so I can play with it and see what I get? I'll take a look when I get home from work.
Edit: Oops. Your PM came while I was posting this. Will look ASAP.

Just a heads up that Dave is working with the LO team to resolve the issue. However in the meantime I would suggest using the ROUNDUP and IFERROR functions in Excel. For example:
=IFERROR(ROUND(O11/5.678,2),"")
This has solved my issue in LO.
