... keep reminded of the one in the "Highlander" movie.
... Which impressed me greatly at itΒ΄s time - and above all because of these great landscapes up there in Scotland. This story could only have happened in a place like this (yours)

That is a great render.

How utterly desolate and bleak - I love it!
-
most excellent ( thought of the Highlander movie also )..

As usual, a great model and render.
You just continue to make a bunch of the rest of us look like fools.

Thanks of the comments guys. Maxwell makes this stuff deceptively easy also a B&W film response is highly forgiving.

Thanks for the comment Hornoxx. This is quite a simple low poly model but the author textured it well. I just added some bump to the textures and did some tiny adjustments. This whole scene took about 30 minutes. I was surprised by the result as i have other projects I've spent weeks on also. The keep reminded of the one in the "Highlander" movie.

Extremely great render! Love the dark touch that comes along with it. Really has that 16th century Scotland feel, which I like. Reminded me of the time I was in Scotland a few years ago. The scenery is just breathtaking, I can highly recommend anyone to go see it, if they haven't been there yet.
I wish more people would show their works in a livestream primarily aimed at creative people, such as twitch or picarto.tv.(the latter one is better though when it comes to art) You don't happen to livestream, do you? -
No i don't live stream Lavanta i am only using flickr right now as an online portfolio. Thanks for the comments.
This is all done within Sketchup using the Maxwell plugin: https://www.flickr.com/photos/132441293@N03/

I think you forgot to post the renders.

That's too bad that you don't livestream your stuff, chedda. I would've loved seeing you stream since those livestreaming platforms such as picarto.tv do feature some great artists. But thank you for sharing your flickr link! I had a look through it and it looks extremely beautiful, especially the bell tower one.

Thanks Lavanta.
