        Load time is usually associated to extensions loading.

        Some may have online connections or API calls etc.

        It's not SketchUp that is slow it is the tools you have installed slowing it down.

        How slow is your startup? Mine is 18secs

          28 Seconds with 41 extensions/plugins and a blank template on a fast computer and hi speed ethernet cable. My slow computer with wifi and ~40 extensions takes 15 seconds to load skp 2016 with approximately same number of extensions/plugins and wifi.

            I remember >2mins startups with SU7 when 1001bits was installed.
