How do I stop V-Ray fur from growing through other material?

Hi folks,
How do I stop V-Ray 3.4 fur from growing through other material? First, everything was fine but after I increased the fur length it started to grow through other material like the wood in the picture.
How do I prevent fur from doing that?

I had to delete the faces behind the wood entrance where fur material was applied then it stopped otherwise it grows through. Is there a setting to prevent that?
