Two classes of Extensions and Plugins exist
depending on the method of install.The method of updating these extensions/plugins depends on the class. (method of install)

ExtensionStore in SketchUcation Tools - Installs

Update in SketchUp Extensions - applies only to Extension Warehouse installs

Updates for extensions and plugins using ExtensionStore in SketchUcation Tools
- applies to extensions and plugins installed using ExtensionStore in SketchUcation Tools
This is obviously not an ideal situation.
However, progress is being made incrementally

What's wrong with it? Sketchucation is not part of SketchUp or Trimble. It's two separate entities. Some authors choose to have their extensions hosted here, some in the Extension Warehouse, a few are hosted in both locations, and some are hosted elsewhere.

Its a good thing SketchUcation exists because when you try to load my extension page on Extension Warehouse it takes at least 30 seconds or more, not sure why.
