Twilight Render
Have you a link for a tutorial for this special animation rendering images?
-
yes of course.
choose aspect ratio 1:2 for example 6000:3000 and spherical as render mode
Than you will get an equirectangular panorama, which you can use for any panoviewer.
-
Excellent work as always!

That's pretty nice. I'd like to try that. Since you can look around, it feels like you're being swept along helplessly. It'd be fun to end it going down a drain.
-
In the other side I don't know if it's the same thing ?
Weβre sad to announce that Vrideo is shutting down as of today -

really interessting, but my Photoshop (CC2017) looks differnt. I don't have this layer mode
My Panoviewer to publish is Pano2VR

It's not Photoshop, it's Affinity Photo! (Free beta for PC!

ah OK that makes sense.

Didn't want to lose this thread-it has a lot of great info to save.
Just wondering if all of your renderings posted are created with Twilight Render?
Thanks -
Yes I am using twilighttender for many years now. Most of them are prepared with twilight render and rendered with Kerkythea. I have a couple of old PCs. they do the render work with KT, while I am preparing the new renderings with SU/TWL
-
So modeled in SU and material/lighting setup in Twilight Render then exported to KT to render?
Any reason not to complete the render in TW?
When I tried it (briefly) many years ago I found the output to be 'harsh' looking but it may have been a lack of time/commitment to properly learn the program. KT was a finer output but when clients wanted animations the time required to process a project was way too daunting. -
I am doing a couple of projects at the same time.
I can work on with SU while the other workstations do the renderings with KT
So I am free to work on my other projects.
-
This is a great idea.
Thank you passing this on - to use the best tools for the job.
