      Hello forum,

I'm a newbie that needs help with making a curved cylinder. I have attached a file that I have been working on (for several hours now). I thought I could make the cylinder shape in 2D and then use "follow me" tool on a circle (to be deleted later) attached to the edge of the cylinder shape. Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance. Gooberboy.

Ps. I know how to made cones (triangle >> follow me >> and circle) if that help

You cannot do a followme using your vertical face, because it's a curved surface.
It's various edges are not coplanar.
It's easy enough to redraw it and make a single face which will work.

With view > hidden geometry on you can see the faceting of your face.
