      I've downloaded the 2Dtool(s) from TIG for line color, line weights, and much more.

      I'm struggling to install it properly as its a TOOL but described to install as a plugin. I'm using a MAC using Sketchup 2016 pro. The file ends in .rbz and I've tried to install as a tool, plugin, alter the file extention and can't seem to find an alternative in the extensions warehouse. Its seems to be in the proper folder (as a plugin) but won't recognize when restarted.

      I'm missing something simple and any help would be appreciated.

        Don't try to install it in a folder.
        Go to Window/Preferences/Extensions and click the install extension button.
        Follow the prompts and navigate to the .rbz that you downloaded.

        Better still, download the sketchucation extension store plugin, install by using the install extension button, then use that to install and manage hundreds of plugins.

          @Box explains it all.
          However, the menu link he gave is for a PC, on a MAC use:
          SketchUp > Preferences > Extensions > Install Extension...

          Or as he said, get/install the SketchUcation Toolset, and use its ExtensionStore³ dialog to auto-install your future Extensions...
