House builder wall tool stopped functioning
-
hey all! so I am green green green to this, but I did manage to get the house builder up and running on my SU but after building the floor on my building and then 2 walls, the wall tool just stopped working.... i open it enter my info and click ok and it doesn't give me any options for the wall location. Just stays on the previously used tool/function. glitch? easy fix I don't see? I tried locating the extension in my program files but couldn't locate them and I tried reloading the .rbz folder to no avail. any ideas? I am using the 2016 version btw. was having a blast until this happened haha thanks so much for any help!

Works fine for me in SU16 except for:
- The dialog box opens as just a bar which needs to be stretched out to see the input options
- The corner options pictures do not appear when selecting a corner type

hmm interesting I'm thinking I will have to uninstall and reinstall both sketchup and the house builder extension. the floor and everything else works just not the walls... or i can manually draw them for this project haha well thanks for your time

Face to Frame is part of HouseBuilder???
FYI. the latest version on my blog does have graphical depictions of the exterior corner selected.

My apologies, denali.
Since I use face-to-frame for my house building, I jumped in before I thought about it. Sorry.
sdmitch, I am using the version Updated: 2013-04-29 14:45:00 downloaded from SketchUcation. I'll get the latest from your blog.

i thought it looked different, but i just questioned if i was saying i had the right thing. I tried uninstalling and re-installing SU but it still isn't working. Either the wall tool or the gable wall tool, but the floor and roof tools work great. the 2 walls i built i can modify and install windows in and everything but it won't create them. Must be a glitch in the .rbz I downloaded but I can't find the housebuilder portion in the SU program file to delete it and try again. Maybe I will try deleting it from the downloads folder and see if that helps.

In case you need to download it again:
