No modifications, Officer(heavily modded Trabi anyone?)

Anyone fancy a contrib on this? I have to do some final touches on the exterior but I'd like to get some interior plus frame and engine(something with more horses than a 2-stroke) Share your thoughts on the topology as well!
P.S.: Made in SU2015. I might have abused some of Thomas' tools like QFT and SubD

Speaking personally, I would suggest a turbo four cylinder engine of about 1.4 - 1.6 litre capacity. Anything larger would just be out of proportion to the vehicle itself. Nice job on the car.

Thanks! I was thinking of a VR6 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VR6_engine By saying out of proportion, do you mean the size itself or power:weight ratio?
-
I mean the size of the engine, the VR 6 is reasonably small but when you take the width of the trabi in consideration it does not leave much for improved suspension/chassis items. Besides, a decent small 3/4 cylinder engine can chuck out as much power as you would need with that bantamweight car. The 1.0 litre ford ecoboost engine can make 155bhp to 170bhp and in that lightweight body the steering will not be corrupted by a heavy engine which the VR 6 is in this application.

Hm, good point! Gotta learn more about this stuff but unfortunately I don't have the time recently. That's why I posted the topic as a contribution request

Topology is so nicely following the forces that I would make a real car with the lines.
-
Wow, thanks!

Love the model. Why not go crazy and put in the new 2.3l Ford EcoBoost?
-
-
The 2.3 would be too heavy and make the car understeer everywhere, less weight with the 1.0 to 1.4 litre engines would enable a better chassis balance.

I said "go crazy" The 1.0l 3 cyl is a cool little engine for sure. Impressive what it did in the Ford F1 test car.

I did not mean to be facetious, I have not got used to the "smillies" yet, sorry mate.
-
No worries Mike, it's all good.
-
Anybody?
-
Well it looks great. Why not go ahead and finish the exterior?

Haven't modeled anything for a while... I hope to be able to continue soon. I'm planning to rework the rear wheel arches so they match the front. Also I remember the last thing I did was I punched a hole on the sideskirt for a muffler. For the rest I'm looking for contributors
