I have drawn a circle on a curved surface with [tools on surface]. This needs to be pulled up as a cylinder. I have done this with [joint push pull] but the top is an now under an angle and I need it to be horizontal.

Is there an easy way to do this?

      OLD SCHOOL METHOD:
construct a box (or flat surface) larger than the cylinder protrusion, move it to the required level, select all, interact, and remove the surplus undesired content

Pull it up a bit farther than you need and use a cutting plane to cut it off flat.

I probably would have drawn the flat shape at the top and used Push/Pull to push it down through the foil shape and trimmed off the bottom.

if you use joint push pull you should investigate it a bit better. It is able to push pull leaving the top of the cilinder flat.

Use vector push pull and search for a red line... πŸ˜„
