I have 2015 with my plugins, my Tool bars, my shortcuts, everything set up, not only the way I like it, but with customizations that I've made consistent across my 3 main software packages. Will moving to 2016 mean I will have to redo all this again. Are there any options to cut down on the work?

        • You can export and import shortcut settings.
        • If you used the plugin store for the plugin installation, you can use the one click bundle function.
        • You can make a screenshot of your toolbar arrangement and use it as a template for the new version (you can't transfer the positions automatically)
        • Materials, Styles, ... can be copied over in the filesystem.

OK, I have Su2016 pro and wanted to move some plufgins from 2015. In 2015 all plugins are stored in plugins folder. However plugins in 2016 are nowhere to be seen although I installed via .rbz some of them. Any idea where are the plugins in 2016?
Best wishes for New Year and thank you.

I know, but they are not there. πŸ˜• Maybe to add that it is on the w10.

This should return the path to the plugins folder:

                Sketchup;;find_support_file("Plugins")

Copy it in the ruby console and press enter.

                  Hi Massimo
This returns same place. There is plugins folder but nothing but su standard extensions.
I think I will have to reinstall Su and see what happens. Thanks.
