    PAN TOOL
1- Alt key. Pressing and holding the alt-key while dragging left or right would constrain movement to the horizontal plane (at the current eye level) and dragging up and down to the vertical plane.

    ORBIT TOOL
1-Alt key. Pressing and holding the alt-key would constrain movement along the horizonal plane while dragging left or right. Dragging up and down would constrain movement to vertical plane (pitch of the camera).

2-Ctrl-Shift Key. Pressing and hold the Crtl-Shift key would lock pivot point to the center of the selected geometry or to the center of the model extents if no geometry is selected.

3-Ctrl-Shift-Alt Key. Dragging would be the similar to Ctrl-Shift but would be constrained to either the horizontal or vertical plane.

    WALK TOOL
1- Alt-Shift Arrow keys or some other key combination to move camera along the red and green axis. Also provide a means for user to dial in their own "nudge" factor.

For convenience, allow the arrow keys to be used with the Pan Tool as well; for both Parallel Projection and Perspective modes. Note, currently you can use arrow keys with the Walk Tool while in Parallel Projection mode, but you have pick a different camera tool first, then right-click on a blank area and choose "walk" from the context menu.

Alt key doesn't constrain the orbit tool in SU 2015. Is there a new way to do it?

He means there is no "new" way because there never was a way. The requested features were never implemented.

No. Alt never did constrain the Orbit tool. In fact, considering what you were asking for in your other thread, Alt is the last thing you want to hold while orbiting. If you can't orbit as you want with a mouse, you should follow the advice given there and get a 3D Connexion device and use it for orbiting.
