3d rendered model from SU
-
I have nearly completed a model that is intended to be viewed on our company website. I am unsure of the process to go from the Sketchup model to fully rendered file that can be viewed in a 3d model viewer.
I realise the rendering can be accomplished using any number of rendering software programmes which can be used within Sketchup, all of which seem to save into 2d images only.
I assume Sketchup does not export a photorealistic rendered model from the likes of Shaderlight, Podium etc, therefore what software is best to render the model and produce the necessary realistic model for viewing in a web based 3d viewer.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I think LightUp might be helpful

Hi Richard
Also Artlantis Render is able to create "VR objects", if you want to orbit, rotate or zoom an exterior rendered view from your model just like creating "VR panoramas" for any interior view. These files can be "played" by any other viewers later such as browsers or QuickTime Player.
Also the cooperation between Sketchup and Artlantis works perfectly. Artlantis is a standalone renderer which works very quickly. SketchUp does not have to be opened... -
Yep and with [urlhttps://www.light-up.co.uk/]LightUp[/url] you have the real "real time" directly in SKetchup, or on any support for user even without Sketchup or Lightup!

Thank you Jiminy and Pilou. I checked Light Up out and you are both correct - perfect for what I need.
Thanks for pointing me in that direction
