My mouse is playing up but only in sketchup

Hi all
My wireless mac mouse is giving me the screaming abdabs, but only in sketchup every time that I click on a tool a pop up box opens, I end up clicking about three times before the tool actualy opens it is driving me mad. the mouse is fine in every other app I am using sketch up pro 2015 with Yosemite on my iMac
does anyone else have this problem?

Graham, I'm running an iMac / mavericks have used the magic mouse a lot . Have never got a popup when selecting a tool but have noticed if I speed real fast when I click on a tool it won't always select. Have to kind of slow down and pause over tool to make sure I get the selection. It behaves the same way with a logitec mouse. I think it is a known problem. The popup is a new one? As Rich mentioned what does the popup say?

Is the popup the 'Tool Tip' i.e. the name of the tool?
and are you talking about all toolbars or a specific Plugins 'WebDialog' toolbar?

on my iMac I abandoned wifi mice due to the latency, wired optical is what I find most responsive...

Funny it seems to have stopped doing it now but the pop up was concerning customising the tool bar as though you right click the mouse. But as i said it seems to have stopped for the moment, I had to select by gently clicking on the extreme left of the mouse. But hey ho lets hope its back to normal again for good.
