-
I am trying to build a bended shape using the Shape Bender plugin but I am not getting the correct results. Perhaps someone can tell me what I am doing wrong.
Here is a screen shot of the problem I am having........

Unfortunately I deleted it. I tried this about 6 times always with the same results.
I had a series of boards that formed the original group that I wanted to "shape" kind of like a fence that had a series of curves like the example. I can try to recreate it but it will not be today.

Shape Bender is very sensitive to the relationship of the group to be bent and the line on the Red axis. If you move the line to center of what you are trying to bend, I think you will get the results you are looking for. Something like this

Yes, the problem has been solved. In the image below, you will see 5 examples. #1 & #4 have the same problem I submitted before. #2 and #3 have the straight line in the middle of the group (as was pointed out) and the result was what I was aiming for. #5 has the straight line very close to the group.
Final result is that the straight line needs to be very close to or on top of the group you are trying to bend.Just for anyone wanting to see this first hand to better understand the issue and remedy, I have also attached the skp file.
I really appreciate the responses..............

If you want the bent component to match the curve you should be putting the straight line directly over or under the straight component.
