    Hi there everyone,
I am following a tutorial about how to make a wood board material with a slight reflection using a reflection map. Because the tutorial is based in 3DS MAX, and i am using sketchup, there seems to be a subtle but key difference.
No matter what i do, i cannot quite grasp where to correctly put my reflection map. There seems to be so many different places.
Does somebody know the right way to do this in Sketchup VRay?
    Thank you

Scroll down until you'll find my posts in that thread. This is the way I do it, and it works for me, but you are at the mercy of your map. The gray values in the map, dictates where and how strong your reflection is happen.
      Cheers.

I tested it out. The bump must make the rendering slower (as the 3ds max tutorial seemed so much quicker and easier)
But still, having said that, this seems to work great, thank you so much for your help.
