      %(#BF00BF)[Hi,

I am new with rectangular light. I draw it on the bottom surface of the cupboard and have problems to tick it so to highlight and move down or change it's settings. While I am clicking in it I highlight the bottom surface of the cupboard, not the light. I have that problem very so often.]

you could use the SU outliner window to select the vray light.

Might want to group your light and cupboard separately (typical methodology)-unless this somehow interferes with what you are doing in V-ray. Groups or components help when working on a crowded model.

The vray light is already in a group when you make it, so there's no issues with loose geometry. It's more an issue that the edges might be in the exact same place, so it's hard to select it with the select tool without selecting the object it's next to instead.

              Hello,

you can use the structure panel to select your light or any other named object.

If you don't have enough place for that panel on your screen, you can add an edge anywhere in your light group and then click on this edge to select your light. πŸ˜‰
