HouseBuilder METRIC

I have been searching for "how to" with HouseBuilder in this forum and google.
Is there any fix for get metric in HouseBuilder? It seems to be some trouble with this.
Thanks for any help and links to topics about this. (I only need to draw easy studwalls and so on, so maybe another extension could be the answer?)
