      Hi All

I run a render farm and we've been exploring adding support for SU + V-Ray

Does anyone know if it's possible to write scripts that interact with V-Ray to change options such as frame ranges, DR node IPs, IR cache locations etc? I've had a scan through the V-Ray plugin scripts to try and get an idea, and it looks like enough of the code is exposed to have a play, but if anyone has a clear understanding of whether this is possible any pointers you can give would be invaluable!

What we'd really love to be able to do is render a vrscene exported from sketchup via the XMLDRSpawner/V-Ray standalone but tests so far suggest this isn't possible..

Shoot an email to support@chaosgroup.com and ask this same question.
