    Hi,
I have a problem with this render - does anyone know how to setup a real glass without this deformation of background picture (view thru glass vs. open door)?
I´ve used standard setting as attached..
I tried to change IOR but without success. 😞

check to make sure your window panes are facing the right direction in SU. If you have faces reversed, the refraction will be distorted like you see there. You should have the front face facing out on both sides.

Thank you - it helped! Originally I had only a plane as glass without any thickness. When I added it, the result was correct.

Was coming here to say just that!

May I add that I really like the design on that window?

I just don't get why people use refraction on window glass? Maybe someone can school me on it. I prefer to use thin cheat glass- single pane, just reflection with 100% transparent black or a little less if you want coloration. Refraction seems like something you really only need when rendering, let's say, a glass vase or something like that, no?
