      Hi,

      the topic says it all. Although the model units are set to meter a generated report yields everything in inches.

      Cheers

        It depends how you generated that report ?
        SketchUp's default units ARE inches...
        Please go through your steps...........

          These are my steps:

          I open SU, set Length Units in Model Info to "Decimal m", create a box 1 x 1 x 1 m, make the box a component, click generate report html --> dimensions are reported as 39.37008x39 x 39.37008 x 39.37008 (inch) and not as 1 x 1 x 1 (meters).

          Cheers

            The built-in tool 'Generate Report' always reports in 'inches'.
            Although your 'model-units' are set to 'meters' the underlying units used by SketchUp are always 'inches'.
            This has been criticized many times...

            You either get the CSV and apply some formulas to the required fields to convert inches to meters... or...
            It is quite possible to make a plugin 'reporter' that uses your 'model-units'...
            Look at my ComponentReporter++ in the PluginStore.
            http://sketchucation.com/pluginstore?pln=ComponentReporter
            Which is intended as the basis of your own custom reporter, but out-of-the-box it will report sizes etc in 'model-units', as you'd clearly prefer [see its 'Instances' report - it makes three separate reports]
