Section Cut Lines Appearing Grey
-
I hope there isn't another thread equal to this....if there is let me apologize. I'm preparing some construction documents in layout 2014 with a tight schedule.
My problem is, when i import my floor plans which i created from my sketchup model, the lines where the section plane cut appear grayed out when i use vector or hybrid. In raster they appear normal but raster doesn't give the quality of lines which I need. I have done this before and haven't come across this problem before....then again i used layout 2013 and version before.....this is my first time using 2014.
Can anyone point me in the right direction. -
Oh I forgot to add that everythng to the back appear normal in all modes

Do you have access to SU Pro 2015? Try it there and see if problem persists?

No I don't but I came to realise the problem is with my sketchup model. I inserted another model in the same layout document and everything was perfect. So now I"m trying to figure out what about my model is causing this.

Perhaps some transparent face between the camera and what's beyond ?
Or perhaps... are the section-plane entities still set to be visible ? [rather than just the section-cuts themselves] - these have a certain opacity too... -
Well now I know for sure that it has to do with the section planes because I deleted all the section planes and put in new ones and everything works perfect in layout now. Just wish I knew exactly what was the problem with the section planes because it took me hours setting up all the new section cuts in the exact locations.

I think I figured it out. Originally I had the section planes withing a group and now that I have placed new section planes I did them outside the group.
