Interstellar movie
-
Not in a long time have I been so excited about a movie, this is going to be amazing, reviews are in and seems this could be the movie of the year.
-
Review I read was that it was long and drawn out but it also mentioned that if you read the whole review then you should go.
One guarantee is that Nolan will drop in some big surprises.
No iMax over here though

Easy to read review, I generally trust this site as they get it right more times than not.

Sounds good. Sounds like there are some real good and real bad points to the movie, but I am excited for some good spacer adventure. It's my favorite SF genre. I like more realism but I know, like almost any movie, they have to bend the rules to make a story.

Just got back from seeing Interstellar in XD (Imax equivalent in Cinemark theaters)
I recommend seeing it XD or Imax as the scenes are amazing and you need those extra back rattling bass speakers to combine the effect.
What a story, what a movie, I need to see it again.
Did not realize how long it was until it was over, I remember getting to the movie just before 11am and walking out 2:05pm. Bloody amazing movie and awesome scifi story, I recommend and give it a 9/10.

We never go in the near futur on Mars or any where from the earth so we can go to the movie theater!

I second what Pete said above. I would have been disappointed if I had not seen it in IMAX, it was amazing. My wife and I are going again real soon.

I've noticed a lot of people saying they have to see it again, I'm wondering why?

The first time is awe and the second time is to understand and appreciate that awe.

Yet to see and with the young ones I'll probably not get to see it
I'll have to wait for it to be on VHS cassette tape

Or streaming on your iPhone.
Just wondering if one can watch movies using Oculus rift VR headset? and if possible how good would it be?

This is the kind of movie you should definitly watch at least once in a theater.
I bet it won't be the same on a living room TV...Like Gravity, I saw it twice in a theater, and now I'm sad I don't have a full-size cinema in my house juste to see this one.

Please report on her reaction, might be able to sway my ditto missus.

My wife likes some SF but not a movie person in general. Trip to the city for iMax plus 3 hours inside may be asking a lot. (Last iMax we saw Rolling Stones. She was OK seeing Mick's lips 20 feet high or so.)
