Hello,
How can i draw (guide)points in Sketchup? Is there a plugin that works for SU 2014? I downloaded a point-plugin but that did not work.

There is one construction points tool in the projections plugin (Didier Bur).

There are quite a few plugins for this Tig, Thomthom, Rich O'Brien, Matt666, MattC, Sam D Mitch, Fredo6 just to name a few.
Something as simple as typing Points into the search function of the PluginStore will find several for you. -
yes please learn to do simple searches...
But out of those Matt666's PointTool is probably the simplest menu/toolbar - and it will work in all versions of SketchUp...

Two posts before yours I posted a link to a plugin in the PluginStore that does this.
If you are logged in you can download the RBZ.
Then automatically install it using the built-in installer tool.
Pre-v2017 = SkechUp > [+Window on PC] Preferences > Extensions > Install extension using gray button...
= v2017 = SkechUp > [+Window on PC] Extension Manager > Install extension using red button...
If you have earlier than v8M2 then you really ought to update ! -
Fredo tools has one who draw points of existing segments! Can be also useful!
