I'm just wondering why you have to complicate things when with a good profile you can do great glasses with the follow me tool...Also the models seem to have some issue on upper edges. Finally too smoothed glass can lead to problems when rendered.

Very true. This is just an exercise to learn to use Artisan.
One of the things I like about SketchUp is the variety of ways you can build a model.
The lip of the glasses issues was a failure to properly manually divide the quads in that area. This is what else I learned from doing this model.
For some odd reason, SketchUp glass did not export to Kerky. I ended up using Kerky's stock glass materials and because the samples were so small and the test render times very long, I just finally said to heck with it.
I'm not expert enough with Kerky to master materials yet.
Or we could just say these are the really cheap restaurant glasses some bars buy.

I know, keep testing.
I'm a complete noob with artisan.@unknownuser said:

For a "common" glass just use the settings in the picture below.

Have you got a model of your glass before subdividing? Could be a really simple fix for the rim.
Great start Bryan! Love seeing Artisan work!

Yes. I know what I did wrong. I did not properly manually divide the quads near the rim.
Oops.
I'll let this one stay and do another. I need the practice.
Already working up new scenes and designs!
