[Concept]Shortcutter for SketchUp
-
Shortcutter is a reference tool for SketchUp users that drills through your shortkeys and displays them in an easy to read web dialog.
Pretty boring but...
...the possibilities mean we COULD store your shortcuts, similar to how the PluginStore stores your installs, so you COULD sync shortcuts between devices.
I think before we look into this further we probably need to know the need for such a feature.
Vote above....you can also comment below if you want to be ignored
-
Oh...I forgot the rest...
Shortcutter COULD be also linked to Plugin Authors Plugins. If they upload a little .gif show their tool in action then it'll show up in Shortcutter.
You can see the gif action occuring at the end of the .gif above.

Whow, nice!

bumping it back because we'd hate to see this feature not get added to SketchUcation Tools
-
You want 100+ votes or 30 100% Yes votes would count?
What would be cool is that you could make a feature where shortcuts are also being show somewhere while using them. It would be perfect for tutorials...
-
On Screen Rolling Reel displays shortcuts but not the plugin action name.
As for yes votes. The more the merrier.
-
i love being ignored...
this seems like a very good idea - i love the bundle feature of the plugin store and can sync my plugins with my gf's laptop now. shortcuts would also help a lot!
thanks,

I thought you were going to ignore what's happening down here...
EDIT: Oh and your plugins do look good you know. IMHO There should be a design standard for plugins...

why do you need those votes ?
Without the votes you don't believe it is good idea ?
or is it some kind of campaign to make it more popular ? -
Definitely extremely useful - you've got my vote
- also could it be set up to list shortcuts in order of most to least used?
-
We don't need votes to do anything. I'm using the vote to see how many would use it or need it.
No point developing something for a fistful of people that requires spondoolas ie $$$ to maintain.
-
I wonder how many people gave you a thumbs up instead of actually voting.
-
21 positive votes
we could look at the down votes but what for?
-
No, I just meant that it looks like some people may have used the thumbs up rather than the poll. So maybe the 21 thumbs adds to the current 57 votes making it already 78.
